Clutch Popped And Went To Floor
I m driving along and my clutch is just fine i press down to shift gears and it just goes to the floor and stays.
Clutch popped and went to floor. It connects with a small rod. My clutch pedal went ping and went flat to the ground today again. Clutch pedals that go from the rest position to full engagement but stay on the floor and don t spring back up indicate a problem. If you have a hydraulic clutch there are a couple of other things it could be.
It stayed on the floor. Never had any problems with it before. Car will not go into gear and shot forward when i tried to start it. Clutch pedal went to the floor but did not come back up.
Originally my factory clutch went out and i had it replaced with a competition clutch. Heard something pop when pushing in clutch last night. It won t come out of gear so i just brake. There are four components that can cause the clutch pedal go all the way to the floor.
One is low fluid in the master slave cylinder. A clutch pedal is made for the driver to release the clutch and engage the clutch. The clutch cable runs to a throw out fork and bearing. I have an 03 g35 coupe 6mt.
Failed clutch release bearing. Then popped up again. Clutch pedals that go from the rest position to full engagement but stay on the floor and don t spring back up. Flywheel and throw out bearing.
Got home then tried to start car this morning and clutch made a pop sound again when pushing it in to start car. Thus i separated the clutch and brake fluids started using a new mix for clutch and fixed the problem forever. A clutch pedal is made for the driver to release the clutch and engage the clutch. This is the need for a forth clutch in five years.
Recently i depressed the clutch pedal and it went to the floor without coming back up can be brought back up by hand but when depressed again same thing i have had no slipping or noise prior to this other than the clutch pedal arm creaking when depressing clutch about 2 mos. So yeah had to stand on the hard shoulder in my high heels for 20 minutes waiting for the aa was prepared for the worst as i thought it would be the same problem but it was exactly what you said rich the garage who repaired the fault last time didn t use that clip you mentioned and it had slipped from.
