Clutch Pedal Sometimes Sticks To Floor

Clutch pedal sometimes sticks to floor. Open the bleeder screw and have an assistant press the clutch pedal to the floor. Clutch pedals that go from the rest position to full engagement but stay on the floor and don t spring back up. A clutch pedal is made for the driver to release the clutch and engage the clutch. Mine did this in traffic long journeys really badly all the way to the floor sometimes.
Preparing the vehicle to check the clutch pedal for a failed release bearing. If the pedal must be raised off of the floor most of the way up before it engages or can be disengaged by pushing the pedal just a short distance then the clutch is severely worn and needs replacement. If the clutch pedal disengages half way to the floor or more it is fine. Cured the problem and its never happened since.
As mentioned above try this before buy spare parts. Make sure the clutch master cylinder is filled with brake fluid. Replacing the cable will allow you to engage the clutch and change gears once more. Every single time this happened i would not be able to go into gear.
