Clutch Pedal Is Stuck To The Floor
Eventually the clutch pedal got soft and occasionally it would get stuck to the floor especially after shifting between 1st and reverse while parking.
Clutch pedal is stuck to the floor. If your clutch pedal goes to the floor you won t be able to engage the clutch and you won t be able to shift gears. When mine failed it took the clutch friction disc out with it. So i thought air got somehow into the clutch hydraulics. I think its been doing that since the second year.

Your description confuses me a bit so you are saying that even with the clutch pedal stuck to the floor there was still enough some power transferred through the clutch to keep the car moving perhaps there was some pedal action and the clutch was partially engaged which caused the burning smell. Failed clutch release bearing. Use either dot 4 or dot 5 1. Didn t plan on seeing the trans hanging out of my car when i stopped in at the dealer to check on progress haha.
The fun part is when the seal fails completely and the clutch stays on the floor.
