Finally use a damp sponge to wipe off any baking soda residue. Grates and burners should be free of grease and non tacky to the touch. Then soak a rag in hot soapy water wring it out and lay it over the baking soda. Clean it every day if you wipe it up each day after you re done cooking it will be a lot quicker like 30 seconds rather than spending 5 minutes doing a big clean up.

If you don t have any ceramic cleaners you can easily lift minor stains with a paste of baking soda and water. To clean grates and burners on your gas stove apply a non abrasive stove cleaner to a non abrasive sponge.
